The UCLA Arts Software Studio brought together a team of 8 visual artists from their program to discuss and demonstrate how they use various software to create and perform images that work with music. The event began with each visual artist explaining how her or his software of choice, such as Processing, VVVV, and Max, is used to create images to the music of special guest Daedelus. Following the discussion, Daedelus performed a DJ set while each visual artist performed and projected images to a captivated audience.

The concept was to create a audio visual environment rather than a rigid performance platform. The artists were all gathered around a big table in the middle of the room. The audience could freely move amongst them and choose the image they wanted to look at.
